Modern overgrowth 1:1 with By Allegra
It was truly a pleasure to welcome two Mexico City based floral designers, Ana Paula and Veronica of By Allegra, in the studio for a two-day floral design intensive. During the workshop, I wanted to create a feeling of freshness, tone on tone, and overgrowth, for an overall modern yet romantic floral experience.
We used a palette of dusty pastel, varied shades of pink, taupe, cream with highlights of burnt sienna to create a soft yet grounded color story. We used color-blocking in a mix of simple and complex garden arrangements, focusing on texture and movement in our pieces.
I couldn’t be prouder of the work we accomplished together and I can’t wait to see By Allegra take Mexican floristry market by storm!
